Open Source Projects & Technical Exploration
Minimalist tech-aesthetic personal blog built with Astro v6 + Tailwind CSS + Cloudflare Pages. Covers MicroLED technology, optical interconnects, and AI workflows. 30 published articles. Trilingual (ZH/EN/JA), dark mode, automated CI/CD deployment.
MicroLED Knowledge Base
A personal knowledge base of 146 curated documents on MicroLED technology. Covers: driver IC/ASIC architecture, Cu-Cu bonding, optical/thermal evaluation, ADB algorithms, optical interconnect fundamentals, and patent landscape analysis. Continuously expanded as the research backbone for blog content.
A Python-first photonic and semiconductor chip layout automation framework that is becoming increasingly important in silicon photonics. I am currently studying its potential for MicroLED emitter layout, optical interconnect waveguides, and optoelectronic device modeling, with plans to contribute to the community over time.
A long-term research direction around open-source ASIC design flows (RTL → GDS). My current focus is to understand the practical boundaries of OpenROAD / OpenLane in digital backend, flow automation, and prototype validation — and to evaluate whether they can support future MicroLED control IC exploration. At this stage, this is toolchain research rather than active contribution.
What's Next
- → Optical Interconnect Toolchain: Building open-source design and simulation tools for MicroLED-to-chip optical interconnect scenarios — filling gaps in current EDA tooling for photonic integration.
- → MicroLED Control IC Toolchain: Integrating open-source ASIC flows (OpenLane + SKY130) with optical evaluation frameworks to lower the barrier for next-gen micro-display driver IC development.
